We are partnering with a dynamic, growing company in the entertainment industry that is looking for a passionate Employee Relations Manager to join its team. In this role, you will guide policy, resolve workplace challenges, and drive initiatives that strengthen employee engagement and retention. Your work will directly impact how employees feel supported, valued, and heard.

This is a long-term temporary  and onsite position based in Orange, CA.

Core Duties:

  • Partner with HR leadership to create programs that elevate the employee experience and reflect company values.

  • Monitor workplace climate and provide actionable insights to boost engagement and retention.

  • Coach leaders to build trust, encourage open dialogue, and address concerns proactively.

  • Handle complex employee relations matters with professionalism, fairness, and discretion.

  • Provide clear guidance on policies, dispute resolution, and performance issues.

  • Work with legal counsel to ensure compliance and minimize risk.

  • Develop, update, and enforce policies in line with all applicable laws.

  • Deliver impactful training on workplace conduct, harassment prevention, and performance management.

  • Lead thorough and timely workplace investigations and maintain accurate documentation.
    Report trends, risks, and recommendations to senior HR leadership.

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of progressive employee relations experience, ideally in hospitality, retail, or restaurant.

  • HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is a huge plus.

  • Experience in a unionized environment.

  • Spanish language proficiency is preferred

  • Strong understanding of California labor laws and HR best practices.

  • Exceptional interpersonal, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.

  • Proven success managing high-volume, complex ER matters.

  • Skilled in designing and facilitating engaging training sessions.

  • Ability to travel to various company locations as needed.
